Responsibilities:

• Contribute technical solutions with a web technology-based agile team of backend, frontend, and DevOps engineers
• Understand the entire architecture and implement it considering the given guidelines
• Implement robust systems, frameworks, software components, features, and APIs
• Optimize development efforts by using and customizing existing frameworks and libraries
• Advise and discover alternative solutions to challenging technical questions
• Develop, deploy, maintain, and improve software
• Optimize web applications to maximize speed and minimize footprint
• Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality, adherence to best practices, and proper documentation
• Cooperate with other engineering teams, product management, and other stakeholders to achieve alignment

Requirements:

• Proven experience building and designing complex systems
• Experience in an agile environment
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Full-stack Developer
• Solid understanding of network systems and internet protocols
• Experience in REST API design
• Experience in Java
• Experience in Web frameworks (e.g. Spring, etc.)
• Experience in databases (e.g. PostgreSQL, TSDB, MongoDB, etc.)
• Experience in JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular, React, Vue, etc.)
• Experience in Web service technologies (e.g. Microservices, Kafka, MQTT, SOAP, XML, REST, WebSockets, etc.)
• Working knowledge of English

Nice to have:

• Web maps and related technologies (e.g. Google Maps, Mapbox, Open Street Map, LeafletJS, etc.)
• Experience in CI/CD systems (GitLab, Jenkins, etc.)
• Experience in PaaS technologies (e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, etc.)
• Experience with Cloud Providers (e.g. AWS, GCP, Azure, etc.)
• Experience with Linux systems
